Our Team

Founder - The Visionaire

Monique Powell

Having personally reaped the mental and physical benefits of hiking, nature has become an essential part of my wellbeing. As a Psychotherapist, being outdoors gives me the chance to pause, ground, and breathe, my mind feels clearer, and that clarity flows back into me being able to help people from within our community and in the therapy room

My hiking superpower:
Overseeing the strategic direction of Trekkers, both on and off the trails. I bring vibrancy, structure, space holding and fun to every hike while holding the bigger picture of who we are and where we're going.

I love being in nature because stepping onto a trail gives me room to breathe deeply and recharge from the intensity of everyday life. It boosts my physical and mental wellbeing, and I especially love the magic of sunrise and sunset, those moments feel like watching the world in slow motion.

My hiking superpower:
Music. I bring uplifting tunes along the way, turning each hike into a shared, joyful experience that motivates the group, sparks conversation, and helps build real connection on and off the trails.

I love being in nature because it keeps me physically fit and gives me the perfect opportunity to test out my camera lenses and drones. Big mountains and dramatic scenery? I’m defo there ready to capture every moment. P.S This is a rare picture of me infront the camera!

My hiking superpower:
I capture the beauty of the hiking community on the trails, the shots others often overlook or can’t quite catch. I bring the story of our hikes to life through the visuals.

Nature gives me the perfect blend of fresh air and clarity. It reminds me that the best ideas often come when my feet are moving and my mind has room to breathe. Hiking is my happy reset button as it lifts my spirit, recharges my energy, supports my fitness routine and allows me to soak up views and scenery.

My hiking superpower:
I’m the dependable steady force of the team, the one who sets a comfortable pace. I always check in with everyone and you can defo count on me to bring reassurance letting people know ‘you’ve got this!’ & to ‘think of all the calories your burning!’ when the trail gets a bit steep. P.S I always make sure we get a cheeky photo along the way.

When I'm not working or looking after my family, you can usually find me chasing waterfalls. The sound of running water soothes me, and a dip in a stream on a summer’s day is the best feeling.

My hiking superpower:
Speed! I’m usually at the front of the hike, exploring as much as possible and setting a vibrant, energetic pace for the quicker hikers of the group.

I love escaping everyday life and getting out into the fresh air. Being outdoors gives me space to breathe, move, and reset. The exercise clears my mind, the views lift my mood, and there’s always plenty of laughter along the way. It’s my little break from everything.

My hiking superpower:
I’m a gentle motivator, engaging with everyone and helping people feel relaxed and welcome. I’ve got solid endurance, and I’m always up for getting to know new people and sharing a good laugh on the trail.

For me, being outdoors is a reminder that everything is connected. I’m rooted in eco- and biocentric thinking, so when I’m out on a trail I’m slowing down, using all my senses, and allowing myself to feel part of the landscape rather than separate from it. Living with an autoimmune condition that affects my mobility has deepened my appreciation for movement, every walk, every step, feels like a gift.

My hiking superpower:
I’m the one who shows up in rain, wind, cold and everything in between. When the hikes get challenging, you’ll usually find me at the back, keeping everyone motivated, supported, and making sure no one ever feels left behind.

Nature reminds me that no two walks are ever the same. From the changing terrain to unpredictable weather conditions, each experience is unique. The trails provide opportunities to challenge my fitness whilst supporting my overall wellbeing, helping me feel refreshed, focused and grounded.

My hiking superpower:
When energy is low I make an effort to lift morale with smiles, laughter and a sing song encouraging others to keep going and enjoy the experience positively.
