Refund Policy

Trekkers UK (“we”, “our”, “us”) aim to be clear and transparent about our booking terms. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing an event ticket.
All tickets purchased for Trekkers UK events are non-refundable.
Once a ticket has been purchased, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
Inability to attend the event
Changes in personal circumstances
Weather conditions
Travel disruptions
Failure to attend
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
2. Ticket Transfers Allowed
While refunds are not available, tickets may be transferred to another person.
To request a ticket transfer:

Include the original booking name, event details, and the full name and email address of the new attendee
Transfers must be requested before the event start date. We cannot guarantee changes requested within 72 hours of the event. Tickets may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain without written permission from Trekkers UK.
3. Event Changes or Cancellations & Force majeure

Trekkers UK reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend events due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the unlikely event that Trekkers UK cancels an event, you will be offered:
A transfer to a rescheduled date or
A credit towards a future Trekkers UK event or
A full refund on your ticket excluding hidden ticketing fees
4. Participant Responsibility & Fitness
By booking an event, you confirm that:
You are physically fit enough to take part
You have read and understood the event description
You will bring appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment
If you have any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or are taking medication that may affect your ability to safely participate, it is your responsibility to:
Seek appropriate medical advice before booking, and
Inform Trekkers UK of any relevant medical information if requested
Trekkers UK reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a participant from an event if there are concerns for their safety or the safety of others.
Trekkers UK accepts no responsibility for participants who are unprepared or unable to complete an event and will not be refunded if unable to participate.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Outdoor activities such as trekking involve inherent risks.
Participation is entirely at your own risk. Trekkers UK accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage except where caused by negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
In the event of an accident, injury, or other unfortunate incident during an event, no refund, transfer, or credit will be issued.

Trekkers UK is a grassroots community organisation based in the UK, offering hikes, wellbeing walks and outdoor activities for the Global Majority.
