Join us for a magical evening at Barr Beacon Nature Reserve as we come together for an evening of nature connection, creativity and good vibes.

On Wednesday 12th Aug, we’ll head outdoors to experience the partial solar eclipse, sunset and Perseid meteor shower, all while getting creative with our Paint & Sip activity.

We’ll settle in at Barr Beacon, enjoy a drink, get creative and watch as the sky transforms around us.

Whether you’re joining solo, bringing a friend or simply looking for a different kind of midweek adventure, this is your invitation to slow down, get outside and enjoy an evening under the sky.

The Experience

We’ll arrive from 6:00pm, find ourselves a spot and settle in overlooking the beautiful Birmingham skyline.

Then it’s time to get creative! 🎨

Our Paint & Sip session will give you everything you need to create your own piece of art while enjoying a complimentary beverage and soaking up the atmosphere.

As the evening progresses, we’ll turn our attention towards the sky.

🌑 Solar Eclipse ~ 18:00 - 20:00
We’ll watch the eclipse unfold together. Solar viewing glasses will be provided, so you’ll be able to safely observe the eclipse without needing to bring your own.

🌅 Sunset ~ 20.46
As the sun begins to set, we’ll take in the changing colours across the horizon and enjoy the views from Barr Beacon.

🌠 Perseid Meteor Shower ~ After Dark
As darkness falls, we’ll keep our eyes on the skies for the Perseids, one of the year’s most spectacular meteor showers.

We can’t promise exactly what the weather or clouds will bring, but we’re hoping for clear skies, beautiful colours and a few shooting stars. 🤞🏾✨
